NutriLab Software LLC uses the collected data for various purposes:

8. Disclosure of Data

We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except:

(a) Disclosure for Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

(b) Business Transaction

If we or our subsidiaries are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred.

What data NutriLab Software LLC stores, including your Intellectual Property (IP), will be protected within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, as well as, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

10. Deletion of Data

If you use our Services, we will try to provide you with access to any personal information we have collected, and if that information is inaccurate, to give you ways to update it or delete it – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes. If you ask us to update or delete your personal information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we act on your request, and we may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require unreasonable technical efforts, risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup media). You should understand that your personal information may never be completely removed from our databases due to technical, business or legal constraints. However, as long as we retain any such information, it will remain subject to the applicable privacy policies pertaining to such information.

If you unsubscribe from our Services, you are at liberty to contact us to request the deletion of all your company information such as: Recipes, Ingredients, User Accounts, etc.

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), provide Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. Privacy Policy for Educational Institutions

1. Introduction

In accordance with the Terms, Nutrisoft LLC, d/b/a Nutrilab ("Nutrilab", "we" or "us") provides Subscription Services to Educational Institutions to facilitate collaboration and learning in the nutrition sciences. Students and faculty members use the Subscription Services to formulate and reformulate food products using their nutrient composition and generate nutrition facts information panels.

Word, phrases and terms that are not defined in this Policy have the same meaning as set forth in the Terms.

2. Applicability of this Policy

This Nutrilab for Educational Institutions Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to Student Data that we collect from students who are using our Subscription Services through an educational institution account (“Students”). This Policy does not apply to our Site or our Subscription Services offered outside of an Educational Institution setting. To understand how we collect, use, and disclose personal data outside of our relationship with Students at Educational Institutions, please visit our Privacy Policy.

3. Information Collected

Nutrilab will not collect, maintain, use or share Student Data beyond that needed for the purposes of using the Subscription Services through an educational institution account, as authorized by the Student (or parent, as applicable) or as otherwise allowed by this Policy.

  1. Account Information. When a Student registers for the Subscription Services, we collect: (i) name, (ii) email address, and (iii) password. This information may be provided directly by the Student or by their Educational Institution. In limited situations, we may receive additional information, including but not limited to, questions or comments from the Student to our customer support personnel.
  2. Automatically Collected Information. When Students use the Subscription Services, we collect and maintain the files that Students create and/or upload. Additionally, and similar to other websites and services, we use cookies, web beacons, and pixel tracking technology to record information such as:
    1. Account activity, for example, storage usage, number of log-ins, URLs visited;
    2. Data displayed, clicked on, or accessed, for example, web pages viewed, workspaces visited;
    3. Other log information, for example, browser type, operating system, device name, device model, IP address, date and time of access, length of time spent, referrer URL; and
    4. User preferences while using the Subscription Services.

Cookies are text files placed on your device to store data that can be recalled by a web server in the domain that placed the cookie. Those cookies are set by us and called first-party cookies. We may also use third-party cookies, which are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting and are used for advertising and marketing efforts. 4. Use of Information Collected

We use the information we collect from Students to provide, administer, operate and improve our Services, to support internal operations of our Services, monitor and evaluate trends, usage and activities in connection with our Services and better tailor our Services to our users’ needs. The information we collect from Students may also be used to respond to comments, questions and requests, to provide customer service, maintain or enhance our security posture, and to comply with legal obligations.

When Student Data is provided by an Educational Institution, we use that Student Data to create an account, to track the number of users on the account for billing purposes, and to provide customer support to the Educational Institution. We may use aggregated or de-identified data about the use of the Subscription Services for research, analysis, and similar purposes, including but not limited to better understand how Users access and use the Subscription Services and to improve the Services.

5. Disclosure of Information Collected

We disclose Student Data to third parties only to the extent necessary to provide the Subscription Services. We do not “sell”, “share” (as defined under consumer privacy laws), rent or trade any Student Data.

Nutrilab may disclose Student Data with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

  1. To each Student’s individual teacher/professor/Educational Institution faculty member and as directed by the Student’s Educational Institution. Through the Student’s account, the Student’s teacher(s) and the Educational Institution can see the Student’s profile and work in the Subscription Services.
  2. With third-party vendors, service providers, or consultants who are working on our behalf, hosting our data, or providing us with services necessary to provide the Services and need access to such information to carry out their work for us. These entities have agreed to maintain the confidentiality and security of the Student Data they access or obtain from us and will not use it for any purpose other than as described in this Policy.
  3. With law enforcement, courts of competent jurisdiction, or other regulatory authorities, when we have a good faith belief that such access, use or disclosure of personal information is reasonably necessary to: (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (2) enforce the Terms; (3) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (4) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Nutrisoft, its Users, or the public, as required or permitted by law.
  4. In connection with any merger, sale or some or all of our assets, bankruptcy or reorganization, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
